Insurance typically requires this report for homes 10-20 years or older for the sole purpose of making sure the Home is worth them insuring. This report is required for renewing policies and getting new ones. We overview the basic 4-points of the home Electric, Plumbing Roofing system and HVAC and for the sake of integrity we will also throw in a thermal inspection of your foundation and check of grading around the home for your sake!(If needed or asked for)
